Espada is a third-year student at Tenbi Academy, a school for students capable of wielding the supernatural force known as Element. Espada's capacity for Element use is immense, and she's infamous for running the table at the school's yearly tournament. But that's not all she's infamous for! While Espada can give the initial impression of being stern and aloof, that impression rarely lasts long, as it's a paper-thin veneer over her true, voraciously horny nature. She describes herself as eternally in heat, always craving new partners and new lewd experiences. Even being brainwashed into the service of the evil organization Kamigari couldn't suppress this side of her personality, her personal desires often completely derailing her from pursuing Kamigari's objectives.

Espada also claims to be a follower of knightly ways, something she said she took up as a means of self-discipline, but she doesn't seem to discipline herself very hard. If someone else wanted to try it, maybe through spanking or making her wear a ball gag or something, she'd take them up in a heartbeat, though! Her chivalric leanings are mainly reflected in her fencing-based fighting style and her preference for fair duels.
